Camino Frances from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Santiago de Compostela

Camino Practice Friends

Each morning my Turks & Caicos Camino practice brings familiar friends reminding me that encounters are not a coincidence but an opportunity to learn. My Haitian friend sells hot tea, avocados and bananas to morning commuters. Goats surround my morning glory munching on any vegetation available on a desert island. Palm trees and white sandy beaches with turquoise waters surround my Turtle Cove walk. I’ve learned to slow down and listen to God’s voice, to accept what is offered as a gift. My main purpose is to be where I am, solitude is a spiritual experience for me.
