Camino Gratitude

While walking 23 miles today, the colors of the sun, sky, land and water were intense. Clouds moving overhead, offering relief from the sun. Feet crunching on rocky trails provides a constant symphony of music. Our world is larger when walking through wide open lands each day. God’s beautiful creation comes alive when walking for hours through trees, rivers, wheat fields, vineyards, olive trees, and open skies – we are so small compared to the greater beauty, so humbling. Walking definitely activates thinking in the quiet open wilderness. Peace is endless, grateful to be alive and present to nature.
