After yesterday’s windy mountain climb, today was peaceful and calm strolling through horse farms and pastures. At one point there was no wind, no movement, only my feet moving over sandy gravel. I’m always amazed during silent, peaceful moments as the earth orbits the sun at 67,000 miles per hour. Gravity and atmosphere keeps us on earth, but why is there so much silence at such speed? Obviously, I have much time to wonder about such things! I practiced detachment during my Camino today, I loved the silence, I felt a holy presence and order aligned with God. An early arrival into Pamplona tomorrow will allow good rest.
